The Indiana Immunization Coalition exists to reduce the spread of vaccine preventable disease through immunization education, advocacy, promotion, and statewide collaborative partnerships.

Our Role:
The Indiana Immunization Coalition (IIC) is a volunteer organization which represents 165 agencies from many different disciplines that are concerned about the immunization of every resident of Indiana. While there are many reasons why children and adults don’t receive immunizations according to the recommended schedule, coalitions such as this evaluate possible initiatives and select those that have the biggest impact on the issue. IIC believes that our process needs to be dynamic so we can focus on initiatives that are measurable, achievable and have a significant impact on immunization coverage rates.
