Program Manager: Education and Provider Relations, MOC Programs
Lori has been with IIC since 2014. Lori completed her Master of Science and Education in Public Health from the University of Toledo and has worked at the Ohio Department of Health, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the IU School of Medicine. Lori has a daughter at Miami University and a son at Butler University. She and her husband and three miniature schnauzers live in Brownsburg. Her hobbies include scuba diving, backpacking, and board gaming.
Program Manager: Communications and Policy, Hoosiers Vaccinate
Patrick Glew began working at the Indiana Immunization Coalition in January 2014. Patrick has a Master of Public Health degree and has worked in public health and research roles at hospitals, departments of health, and at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Patrick enjoys exercising and enjoys having impromptu dance parties with his wife and kids.
Program Manager: Adolescent Coordinator, #VaxChamp, Project HPV Free
Sarah Vivo joined the Coalition in 2018. She previously worked in healthcare for over ten years while finishing her bachelor’s degree in Health Services Management from Indiana University. Sarah has worked in paid and volunteer positions for several Indiana nonprofits. Sarah and her husband reside on the southeast side of Indianapolis. When she has spare time, Sarah enjoys drinking coffee, crafting, and traveling. However, most of her spare time is spent as a mom-taxi for her two school-aged children’s activities.
Karen Long, RN
Karen was a previous board member for IIC and joined as a staff member upon her retirement in 2020. She worked as a public health nurse for many years at the Howard County Public Health department and was an essential partner implementing the mobile clinic. Karen resides in Howard County.
Jackie has been with the Coalition since 2018. She graduated with an administrative degree from Aristotle College in 1995. Jackie manages the IIC’s resource inventory and orders, among many other things. In her spare time, she is an active volunteer with local schools and sports teams. Jackie resides in a small town south of Indianapolis with her husband and children.
Digital Communications Manager
After more than ten years in the tech and corporate worlds, Sara joined IIC in 2018. With her experience and background in communications and content marketing, Sara uses the power of digital storytelling to promote IIC’s advocacy efforts and educate Hoosiers about the importance of immunizations for a healthy community. When she’s not working, Sara enjoys cooking, traveling, and visiting museums.
Staci Johnson, RN
Clinic Manager and Central Region Lead
Staci has been with IIC since the mobile clinic began in 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Purdue University. She has clinical experience in both pediatric and school nursing and has held positions in public health outreach and with Managed Care Entities. Staci resides in central Indiana with her husband and two children.
Lois Franklin, LPN
South Region Lead
Lois joined IIC in June 2021. She earned her LPN from Ivy Tech in Madison in 1993. Lois previously worked most of her nursing career at the Dearborn and Ripley County Public Health Departments for 25 years. She currently resides in southeastern Indiana with her husband and enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren.
Sarah Lahey, RN
North Region Lead
Sarah joined IIC in April of 2022. She is based out of Fort Wayne and is responsible for our clinics in northern Indiana. Sarah holds degrees from Ball State University and the University of St Francis in business marketing, management, and nursing. Before her employment with the IIC, Sarah served as a school nurse for the last 19 years and is excited to continue in public health by helping us promote immunizations for all ages. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy traveling, board games, gardening, exploring, biking, kayaking, and spending time with their two adult daughters.
Clinic Program Coordinator
Melissa began working for IIC as an intern in May 2021. After graduating from IUPUI with a degree in Health Services Management in December 2022, Melissa joined IIC as a Program Coordinator. During her spare time, she enjoys building puzzles and fostering stray animals.
Originally from northwest Indiana, Morgan joined IIC as an intern in 2020, and she loved it so much that she joined as a staff member in 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health-Community Health from Indiana University and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree at Purdue University. She enjoys watching baseball and having water balloon fights.
Alisha began working for the IIC Mobile Immunization Clinics in 2021. She performs administrative duties during clinics and behind the scenes. Alisha has two children and resides southeast of Indianapolis. She enjoys board games and loves eating at Long John Silver’s.
