The Indiana Immunization Coalition has educated, vaccinated, and advocated for Hoosiers since 2003.

What began as a grassroots effort to reduce the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases across the state quickly became one of the nation’s largest immunization coalitions.

Today, IIC works with community members, healthcare providers, and local & state health departments to keep Hoosiers healthy. For our 20th anniversary, we’re celebrating with special events and an end-of-year gala. We invite you to celebrate with us!

Our vision for the next 20 years is one of equity and health.

Our team is excited to develop and implement new programs, address vaccine hesitancy, and reach underserved community members across the state. As a pro-science organization, we are responsible for advocating for the health of every Hoosier. And in the next 20 years, we will continue to do just that!

The Indiana Immunization Coalition is committed to providing vaccinations at no cost. Vaccination reimbursement consists of two parts: the cost of the vaccine itself and the administration fee, which covers expenses like staff and supplies. For those who have health insurance, these fees are covered by the insurance company as preventative care. For uninsured people, government funds only pay for the vaccine cost, and the patient is responsible for the administration fee.

The Indiana Immunization Coalition does NOT charge this administration fee but instead absorbs the cost of vaccinating the most vulnerable Indiana communities. Your support allows protection from life-threatening diseases such as COVID, whooping cough, HPV-related cancers, and influenza.

We currently vaccinate Hoosiers across the entire state from our office in Indianapolis. This requires extensive travel time and presents issues when vaccinating rural communities. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to purchase vaccine refrigerators and, eventually, office spaces in northern and southern Indiana. This will make vaccinating Hoosiers even more efficient!
